When FRI Broker Associate Vivian Katz joined the firm 7 years ago, she brought with her a wealth of market knowledge and a vast network of global resources.
She streamlined ways to best serve customers and brought a new set of protocols to a Brokerage-adjacent “Mentor” venture. She even launched a MeetUp Group page for that reason (https://www.meetup.com/orlando-re-mentor-meetup-group/).
COVID and personal concerns aside, she forged ahead to make a reality her revolutionary approach to real estate which includes aggressive scrutiny of the industry and of her role as a facilitator and negotiator in a world of self-employed salespersons. She strives for the model “Reality-based Real Estate – what a concept!”
Prior to joining Florida Realty Investments, she was an associate with major brands and also boutique firms. Her client base spans from Orlando to Canada, Europe, Israel, and Greece, as well as Argentina, Chile, and Uruguay. As a Transnational Referral and also Relocation Specialist, she is your global connection to real estate anywhere in the world.
Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Vivian speaks Spanish fluently and has been a resident of Orlando for 50 years this coming February.
Without a doubt, she has left her mark on Central Florida’s landscape. When Northwest Orange County (District 2) amended its planning and land use proposal, Vivian was there. When Northwest Orange County developed its legislative proposal for the Wekiva Parkway, she was there as well.
Now, Vivian lends her expertise and resources to help local and international investors who own multiple real estate assets sell their properties and also add to their portfolios. Regardless of whether the properties are located in Central Florida or overseas, Vivian is able to help her clients yield the best possible return on her clients’ investments – even in stagnant or struggling markets.
“The current market is definitely presenting challenges for investors, but it hasn’t changed my ability to deliver results,” says Vivian. “I approach every transaction with the same questions: What do my clients expect, what is most important to them and how am I going to accomplish for them?”
“Thankfully, I am supported by a strong network which allows me to provide my clients with creative solutions. I’m also backed by state-of-the-art technology, which allows me to market properties internationally – whether residential or commercial – so that I reach a broader spectrum of buyers.”
From rental solutions to distress sales, Vivian has earned a reputation for doing whatever it takes to get the job done. Her source of pride is the TLC she shows her senior Sellers and Buyers, those who prefer to go “old-school”! She is also known as a strong negotiator and marketer.
In addition to helping clients manage their investment portfolios, Vivian’s area of expertise includes corporate relocation, vacant land sales and development, distress and Probate sales, waterfront properties, first-time home buyers and sellers, and General Aviation fly-in communities.
She is a former member of several industry groups; including the Orlando Regional Realtor Association (Vivian is a Founding Gold Key at the association). She continues to network with vendors and active Investors and to reach out to Off-Market opportunities for her inner circle. She pursues relationships with hard money lenders and is a proponent of Sellers holding Notes to maximize profits at sale. She recently expanded into Business Brokering, under the tutelage of Corporate Trainer, Ryan Langley.
Vivian holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from the University of Central Florida and is a proud graduate of Boone High School, where she has been a volunteer for both Golf events and Back-to-School functions for students. Now, she volunteers with Girls Standing Together and St. Andrews Society, as well as with Association for Florida Environmental Protection.
Vivian recently launched a Euchre MeetUp group after the long-standing volunteer moved away. She can also be found playing Texas Hold ‘Em and Omaha Poker or visiting local spots like Leu Gardens, Casa Feliz, and Morse Museum.
She served as a Citizen Advocate for Florida’s Wekiva Parkway Legislation and is a graduate of both Orange County Citizen’s Academy and Orange County Citizen Planner Academy. Vivian can be reached by calling 407.690.4557 or by e-mailing RealBrokerKatz@gmail.com.
